The New Year starts with another ZOOM meeting with Keith Locke on hand to appraise our photographic efforts using artificial light sources such as flash, night-time illuminations etc. The meeting will start at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 20th January and those of you who have already participated in these sessions will know that he will offer constructive criticism and suggest ways we can improve our results by changing the settings of our cameras and how the results can be improved by cropping & simple adjustments…Find out more »
Kevin Pigney, ASWPP ASINWP will give a talk shared on ZOOM about his passion for wildlife photography and tell us the story behind some of his favourite images, touching on all aspects that go behind the production of his work, including equipment, fieldcraft, project planning etc. Kevin is happy answer questions and afterwards members will have an opportunity to share examples of their own wildlife photographs.Find out more »
The Club’s AGM will be held by Zoom on Wednesday April 7th starting at 7.45pm. A meeting will follow at 8.15pm when Barbie Lindsay will join us to comment on members images submitted for our “Best Ever Photograph” Competition, for which a small prize will be awarded for the winning entry. Stuart will be in touch with members with the necessary Zoom link and it would be much appreciated if you could post your competition entries (no more that 4) to Dropbox by 6pm Monday 5th April to give Barbie ample time to review them.Find out more »
Alan Sarsby Alan is returning this tine to give a Zoom presentation on the humble crop tool which is one of the most basic and useful tools in in a photographers tool kit that does much, much, more than the electronic equivalent of a Stanley Knife.
