Date: March 14, 2026
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Location: Aldeburgh Library.

This month we are very pleased to welcome Simon Fremont, Regional Organiser of The Royal Photographic Society, East Anglia Team.  Simon will be covering its history and purpose, as well as the benefits of membership including mentoring, events, exhibitions, networking, and internationally recognised qualifications known as Distinctions.  He will outline the Distinction journey that begins with Licentiate (LRPS), demonstrating technical competence and visual control and Associate (ARPS) that recognises a cohesive body of work with clear intent and strong visual awareness.  Finally, he will discuss becoming a Fellow (FRPS) which is the highest distinction, awarded for a sustained, distinctive, and accomplished body of work that reflects professional-level practice. The presentation will include examples of successful panels at each of the three stages of the Distinctions journey.

The evening will conclude with members showing their images inspired by the presentation last month.
